It’s the start of a new month which means another month of new book releases. I’ve decided to keep this post short with my top 5 picks for the month. There are so many wonderful books coming out this month so if I don’t mention a book you’re highly-anticipating, please comment it down below. Without further ado, here are 5 September releases to read soon
1. The Inheritance Games by Jennifer Lynn Barnes
Knives Out meets One of Us is Lying in this mind-boggling book about what happens when a girl inherits billions from a man she’s never met. I’ve already published my review for this book so you can check out exactly what I thought of the book by clicking this link.
2. Furia by Yamile Saied Méndez
“An #ownvoices contemporary YA set in Argentina, about a rising soccer star who must put everything on the line—even her blooming love story—to follow her dreams.” I have an early copy of this book and I absolutely can’t wait to read it. This book is set to be released on September 15. I’m also participating in a blog tour for this book so stay on the lookout for that!
3. Dear Hero by Hope Bolinger & Alyssa Roat
This book has a funny premise of a hero in need of a villian and vice-versa. After meeting on a dating-style app that pairs nemesis together, these two nemesis work together to fulfill their roles even as they come to realize how simliar they might actually be. I’m getting major Mega Mind vibes from this book so I can’t wait to read it! This book will come out on September 28.
4. Recommended for You by Laura Silverman
“To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before meets You’ve Got Mail in this charming and hilarious rom-com following two teen booksellers whose rivalry is taken to the next level as they compete for the top bookseller bonus.” Just let that blurb sink in…Are you bouncing in your seat from excitement or is it just me?
5. None Shall Sleep by Ellie Marney
“The Silence of the Lambs meets Sadie in this riveting psychological thriller about two teenagers teaming up with the FBI to track down juvenile serial killers.” I have been waiting on a book based on The Silence of the Lambs and it’s finally here. Like a couple of the previous books, this book is already out! It can be purchased/borrowed from a local library today!
That about sums up a few of my September releases to read. If you beat me to reading one of these books, let me know how it is!
