To my fans, I’m known as Ivan Fitzgerald.
To my teammates, I’m just Fitz.
And to the girl I’ve been talking to online, I’m ShootsAndScores.
There’s no doubt in my mind that the woman on the other side of the screen is completely out of my league. Why wouldn’t she be? Sure, I’m a professional hockey player, but that doesn’t mean anything when I’m shy and awkward in the most basic social situations and she’s a fiery vixen who oozes sex appeal.
No matter how badly I want her, I can’t have her. Because the woman I love watching so much? The one I might be slowly falling for?
She’s not just some stranger on the internet. It’s Rosie, the woman who serves me coffee and donuts every morning.
And she has no clue it’s me.

If you liked THE NANNY, check this book out! It marries sports romance and the “cam girl” plot.
Fitz was such a sweet character. I knew going in that Fitz was going to be completely different from Greer, whose book was most recently released, but he was also pretty different from the other guys. He’s a cinnamon roll of a character (most like Miller if I had to choose one). His struggle with his voyeurism kink was honestly a little heartbreaking to read about. He felt broken and disgusting so seeing Rosie validate him was sweet.
Speaking of Rosie, she was a cool character! She had this shyness that matched up with Fitz. I wish we could have dove more into her schooling or baking or something outside of her relationship with Fitz. I think that could have rounded her out more. They were honestly pretty similar, but still complemented each other well.
This book felt short. The romance was plotted out at a decent pace, but I think the story and pacing could have been better with a longer story.
The whole Halloween party scene was honestly my fave. It was so funny, spicy, and had a great scene with the OG Collin. Something to look forward to.
Overall, while this wasn’t my favorite Comets book, it was a good one. It seems like we may be stepping away from the series from a while, which I think is for the best. It almost feels like we’re beating a dead horse with this team. I’m excited to see hockey in Seattle with Hayes now.

TEAGAN HUNTER is a Missouri-raised gal but currently lives in South Carolina with her Marine veteran husband, where she spends her days begging him for a cat. She survives off coffee, pizza, and sarcasm. When she’s not writing, you can find her binge-watching various TV shows, especially Supernatural and One Tree Hill. She enjoys cold weather, buys more paperbacks than she’ll ever read, and never says no to brownies.
