I should stay away.
Emilia Anderson is the team’s social media manager, and there are strict rules about not fraternizing with the staff. It doesn’t matter that we already accidentally broke them—we can’t let it happen again.
Besides, my time in the NHL is winding down, and this is my last shot at winning the Cup. I need to focus on the game, not some girl I have no business chasing.
She’s ten years younger than me.
She’s the assistant coach’s niece.
And she works for the team.
She’s off-limits…and too hard to resist.
I know better than to play this game…
But it looks like I’m heading to the sin bin.

Another great addition to my favorite hockey team. This book had an age-gap romance with appearances from our favorite characters from the previous three books, plus one tiny new addition.
Owen Smith is an alpha male. Everything about him is possessive and dominating and alpha. Combine that with professional hockey and it’s hot. I loved getting to know both Owen and Emilia as they were before and now. Their chemistry is one thing that never changed in their two and half years apart. It was always explosive when they were together. Also, the whole ending of this was really cute honestly and it had everything to do with Owen so props to him for that.
As usual, I freaking love Miller. I’m so happy the next book in the series is his because I can’t wait any longer! I also loved getting a little more insight into Hollis and Lowell’s relationship. Their relationship felt the most unfinished of all the books and I felt like this book gave me some closure for them.
I know my review was a bit all over the place, but I hope it conveys that I like this book and am excited to read more in this series.

TEAGAN HUNTER is a Missouri-raised gal but currently lives in South Carolina with her Marine veteran husband, where she spends her days begging him for a cat. She survives off coffee, pizza, and sarcasm. When she’s not writing, you can find her binge-watching various TV shows, especially Supernatural and One Tree Hill. She enjoys cold weather, buys more paperbacks than she’ll ever read, and never says no to brownies.
