Hi, friends! Today, I’m so excited to share a post I was tagged in by The Inharmonious Herione. Big thanks to Liza for the tag on The Anonymous Bookaholics Tag. I’m excited to share some of my answers below!

What do you like about buying new books?
For one, the new book smell is real and it’s glorious. But also, the prospect of a new adventure is so fun! I love being able to start a new book, knowing beforehand that I’m starting a new adventure, no matter what genre it may be.
How often do you buy new books?
Wayyyy too often. Haha. Used to, I only bought maybe a book or two a month. Now, I buy probably a book or two a week. Plus, I usually end up buying Kindle e-books whenever there is a sale on a book I’ve been wanting to read.
Bookshops or online book shopping: which do you prefer?
I definitely prefer going to the store itself to buy a book. I don’t always have the time to go in and browse so I usually end up being online. But if at all possible, I try to go inside the bookstore.
Do you have a favorite bookshop?
We don’t have any independent bookstores in my area so I always just end up being to Barnes and Noble. That’s pretty much the only bookstore within a 60 mile radius.
Do you preorder books?
I used to preorder books allthetime. I haven’t done that in a while, but I really want to start doing it again. There are so many fun preorder incentives that authors and publishers do so that’s an added perk as well.
Do you have a monthly buying limit?
HAHAHAHAHA. no
How big is your wishlist?
I think my list of books that I want to read on Goodreads is over 200. Out of that 200, I own (and haven’t read) probably 80 of those. So I have about 120 books that I want to read and don’t own. It’s a little big.
Which 3 books from your wishlist do you wish you owned right now?
Oooo. Good question. Last Chance Summer (a cute summer camp novel), All Your Twisted Secrets (a murder-mystery), and Instant Karma (the newest Marissa Meyer book) are all at the top of my list to buy next.
These questions gave me some things to think about (namely, which book I should buy next, haha). I’d like to tag some fellow book lovers to answer the same questions on their blogs.
