Lady Camembert wants to live life on her own terms, without marriage. Well, without marrying a man, that is. But the law of the land is that women cannot inherit. So when her father passes away, she does the only thing she can: She disguises herself as a man and moves to the capital city of the Kingdom of Fromage to start over as Count Camembert.
But it’s hard to keep a low profile when the beautiful Princess Brie, with her fierce activism and great sense of fashion, catches her attention. Camembert can’t resist getting to know the princess, but as the two grow closer, will she able to keep her secret?
A romantic comedy about mistaken identity, true love, and lots of grilled cheese.

I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect from this book going in (based on the kooky title and all), but I loooooved it!
This book is 70% puns and 30% story. I mean, seriously, the puns were everything. Obviously, this book revolves around cheese so we get lots of cheese names, cheese jokes, cheese everything. But it didn’t feel overdone. It was woven into the story really well. And while it was not subtle (I mean, our main character’s name is Brie for crying out loud), it made the story that much more enjoyable.
Kinda along the same lines, the use of modern language and some modern technology (you’ll know it when you see it) was well done and so funny. This book is taking place in maybe a regency era or something along those lines, but everything else feels modern. Again, very well done.
I thought the romance was so cute! It was one of those everyone can see it but them which really added to the angst of things.
Overall, I loved this graphic novel! It was so funny, very cute, and I would love to return to this world!! Please say it’s so!

This book sounds hilarious. It’s amazing how everything seems to revolve around cheese. We’ve never read a book that was so focused on puns.
It was so punny and still so romantic!
Great review! I wasn’t sure if I wanted to read it so I’ve been waiting for reviews and now I’m regretting now signing up for the blog tour 😂 This sounds fun! I’ll definitely keep an eye out for copy
It was definitely fun, humorous, and romantic. Also, I love that it was full color! We don’t often get that in graphic novels
