I’ve been told I’m the grumpiest goalie in the league, and that may be the case, but who cares when I’m also killing it this season? The Carolina Comets are currently on a record-breaking run, and I intend to keep it that way.
This means the last thing I need is distractions, but my mother didn’t get that memo. She’s getting married, and after the fiasco I caused at her last wedding, I’m required to bring a date.
That would be easy, except for one little thing: I don’t date.
So why is the only person I want to take a single mom who can’t stand me?
We’re a horrible match, and it makes no sense that I’d be into her. But the more time we spend together, the more it’s starting to look like this might be one game I can’t win.
Title: Glove Save (Carolina Comets, #6)

This book was so stinking good! We have a single mom, a mildly grumpy hockey goalie, and the sassiest ten-year-old.
I didn’t know much about Greer before book 5, Miller’s book, but I instantly fell in love with him. He’s a little gruff, a little flirty, and way too cool to fall in love. And the arguing between him and Macie, Stevie’s ten-year-old daughter, is priceless. I loved watching him interact with Stevie and seeing how they warmed up to each other.
We were also introduced to some new hockey players! I thought this book might be the end of the series, but it looks like we have at least two more books with the Carolina Comets! Exciting news and I’m already so in love with Fitz. I can’t wait to see who he falls in love with.
Overall, this is one of my favorite books in the series. The romance was so good, the steam was off the charts (probably the steamiest book in the whole series), and the characters were so lovable and memorable. Teagan Hunter knows how to write sports romance!

TEAGAN HUNTER is a Missouri-raised gal but currently lives in South Carolina with her Marine veteran husband, where she spends her days begging him for a cat. She survives off coffee, pizza, and sarcasm. When she’s not writing, you can find her binge-watching various TV shows, especially Supernatural and One Tree Hill. She enjoys cold weather, buys more paperbacks than she’ll ever read, and never says no to brownies.
