I was so excited to finally get our captain and quaterback’s story. Holden is the rock and glue of the team and he deserves love!
I loved seeing a different side of Holden in this book. He was kinda goofy and looser with Julep than we usually see him. As team captain, he’s strong and stoic and has to keep everyone in line. It was so nice to see the real him and the effect Julep had on him.
The epilogue to this book was the best ever! It wrapped up Holden and Julep’s story really well and just gave the book an overall sweetness after having so much grief and heartache mixed in.
Overall, this was the book and romance Holden needed and I’m so glad he got it. Now, onto Leo and Mary!
