Scoring on the ice? Piece of cake.
Scoring off it? Well, there’s a reason I’m still a virgin.

I’m not entirely clueless with women, though I do tend to put my foot in my mouth around them far too often.

Like I did with Scout, the donut maker I stupidly introduced myself to despite visiting her truck for years.

Maybe my teammates have a reason to call me the dumb one, but I’m determined to prove them all wrong—Scout included.

I want to be her friend. Want her to see the real me.

What I’m not expecting is to like her so much when we start spending time together…or want to kiss her so badly.

I’m the jock, and she’s the bookworm.
On paper, we make no sense together.

But maybe I have a scoring chance with her after all.

I freaking love Grady Miller and have been waiting so long for this book! And I love, lovelovelove, that the FMC was Scout!

I saw Miller a little differently in this book which is what I was really excited about. We usually see him as the confident, ladies’ man all the other teammates perceive him as, but this book was different. We got to see a rambling, nervous Miller and it was so adorable! It was especially cute to see this happen around Scout.

Scout was mildly mentioned in the other books, but I was really excited to get more of her in this book. First, she’s a curvy character! We love to see it. Also, she was multi-talented as a baker and a romance writer. It was so fun to learn more about her as the book progressed.

I so wish this book could have been about 20x longer so I could have gotten more of Scout and Miller. This book was swoony and exactly what I wanted for my beloved Grady Miller. Can’t wait to learn more about Greer!
