Summary:
Dimple Shah has it all figured out. With graduation behind her, she’s more than ready for a break from her family, from Mamma’s inexplicable obsession with her finding the “Ideal Indian Husband.” Ugh. Dimple knows they must respect her principles on some level, though. If they truly believed she needed a husband right now, they wouldn’t have paid for her to attend a summer program for aspiring web developers…right?
Rishi Patel is a hopeless romantic. So when his parents tell him that his future wife will be attending the same summer program as him—wherein he’ll have to woo her—he’s totally on board. Because as silly as it sounds to most people in his life, Rishi wants to be arranged, believes in the power of tradition, stability, and being a part of something much bigger than himself.
The Shahs and Patels didn’t mean to start turning the wheels on this “suggested arrangement” so early in their children’s lives, but when they noticed them both gravitate toward the same summer program, they figured, Why not?
Dimple and Rishi may think they have each other figured out. But when opposites clash, love works hard to prove itself in the most unexpected ways.

Review:
Where do I even begin?! I loved this book from the beginning! The characters, the humor, the relatability, all of it!
This book goes between the POVs of Dimple and Rishi and gives the reader a clear idea of what both of them are thinking throughout the book. I thought I would get annoyed at how frequently the POVs switched, but I actually didn’t mind it. I found it helped give me a well-rounded picture of both Dimple and Rishi.
Dimple is incredibly headstrong and focused on her future goals. She wants to be a web developer. Heck yes! When I read that, I might or might not have squealed since that’s what I’m studying. She was so relatable throughout the whole book. It was almost like looking in a mirror for me.
Rishi…Ahh! I fell in love with Rishi from page one. He’s so sweet and thoughtful and so in love with Dimple from the beginning. I was seriously swooning every time he opened his mouth. Can I get a Rishi shipped to my house? No? Oh, okay.
We were able to see lots of great development in not only Dimple and Rishi, but in a couple of the side characters as well. The whole book takes place in a span of about 2 months, but that’s enough time for each of the characters to get a good idea of what they want in their futures and who they no longer want to be.
Something that made this book stand out for me was the way Menon described things. She described Dimple and Rishi’s feelings and emotions so well! It gave me a clear idea of what they wanted and who they were. Each description felt specific and targeted, but not overdone. I didn’t feel like I was sitting through a snooze-fest. If only I had accurate words to describe her descriptions!
Overall, this was the perfect book for anyone seeking a swoon-worthy and comedic romance about the future and how one person can change everything and nothing at all.
